Haitian art museum for sale in the Dominican Republic

This is not just a museum but a work of art in itself. It’s a white walled castle unlike any other building in the world. It is totally unique.

The castle sits majestically on a hill overlooking Sosua. It has eleven bedrooms/apartments and space to add more that will have commanding views of the ocean, mountains, and countryside surrounding the castle. From the moment you see the building in the distance you know that this is something special and you will not be disappointed.  Just standing outside the entrance and looking up to the walls and turrets you are presented with works of art sculptured by Haitian artists. Many of the artists have resided here, and still do, in the peace and tranquillity to develop their skills and produce astounding works, especially sculptures in stone and mahogany.   This is a working museum where you can see the artists create their work in a stress free environment surrounded by past masters of Haitian art to inspire them. Hopefully, the new owners will continue to support them and maybe even open an art school on one of the floors to encourage people from the Americas and Europe to develop their artistic skills.

The museum is really looking for a philanthropist to preserve and promote the artistic talents of the Haitians who share this lovely island with the Dominican people. This museum could become a major tourist attraction with a projected arrival of 250,000 cruise passengers to the North coast in the first year rising to 600,000 annually. Moreover, it would be an ideal vehicle for supporting the Haitian nation by selling the resident artists works and seeking donations to help rebuild Haiti.  A separate room could be devoted to Haiti and the challenges it faces.
