Lush tropical flowers surrounding the property and climbing on the walls of our bungalow, smelling beautifully, gave this place an exotic fairy-tale vibe. The bungalow, where we stayed was airy, clean and very artistically decorated: it was so great to wake up ( accompanied by the birds chirping and roosters singing) in a morning and have coffee, sitting on a handmade bench and looking over the palm trees at the ocean. Swimming in a beautiful swimming pool, surrounded by flowers and plants was another highlight of the day. The owner is such a gracious and helpful hostess that staying at her lodge is more like staying with a friend or a family member. .. The owner’s dogs, chickens and beautiful horse are all adding to the rustic charm and friendly atmosphere of this place. And the price was so reasonable!
It is located a very short walk to the most beautiful and serene beach ( much nicer than crowded Cabarete beaches, in my opinion) I have seen while being in DR, and it is less than 10 minutes away from Cabarete, where all the night live is concentrated.
I think that my trip to DR would be only half as good as it was if it was not for staying there. I would recommend this place to anyone.”
