The market price for a two bedroom apartment under 120 sq mtrs is around $160,000. With this property you get two apartments each 120 sq mtrs plus two large terraces and a third of an acre of land. This must be one of the best buys on the market for anyone who wants a place in the Caribbean coupled with an income from renting out the other apartment.  The current rental fees are US$650 for the second floor and US$600 for the first (ground) floor.  The design inside is identical but the furnishings are different, with the second floor cupboards and cabinets deep being made of mahogany  and the first floor are made of light oak.  Both have high quality stove and refrigerators but the second floor master bedroom has a relaxing Jacuzzi in the ensuite bathroom.  The other three bedrooms all have en-suite bathrooms and the guest’s bedrooms have access to the front entrance without having to go through the main living and dining areas, which are separated.  There are two features that I particularly like: one is the lions head on the interior wall that is in fact a small fountain with the water being captured in the stone vessel below and recycled. Both have large terraces where you can dine with your guests while enjoying the views of the Dominican countryside. Immediately, to the side of the property is a good sized swimming pool and sun deck surrounded by very well maintained lawns.  In front of the villa is a large garden area with mature trees including one very old tree where once children swung from its branches.  What is immediately noticeable as you enter the property is the peace and tranquillity of the area, yet you are just seven minutes drive away from Sosua town with all its shops, bars, restaurants and four sandy beaches.
